What is included in White Space? |
White Space has included material which:
- Is intended to say something new about business, technology, or the economy
- Is published by the firms currently within the scope of White Space and is positioned by the originating firm as ‘thought leadership’, ‘insight’, ’research’ etc. Blogs, podcasts, books and articles are also included where possible and appropriate
White Space has not included material if it:
- Is primarily and obviously designed to sell a particular consulting service or solution, or is clearly straight-forward marketing material
- Describes a single case study, except in cases where a firm is doing so to illustrate a broader point it is making about a subject
- Outlines the results of a survey with minimal analysis
- Provides factual operational guidance on legislative or accounting changes
- Is produced in a language other than English
- Could not be identified during our research. It is likely that if the White Space research process has not succeeded in finding a particular article, it would be similarly challenging for clients to identify these thought leadership examples through their own searches – rather defeating the object of producing them at all
