The Source Ratings Index is a new intiative from Source through which we're gathering data on, and ranking, the performance of consulting firms based on scores given to them by a large number of clients. It allows clients and consultants to see how firms perform against their competitors by sector and service, and according to a range of consistent criteria including:
- Overall project performance
- How likely the client would be to recommend the consulting firm in future
- Value for money
- Knowledge of the issues involved
- Quality of the working relationship
- Ability and willingness to transfer skills effectively to the client
- How well the consultant helped to deliver the intended results of the project
Source provides a simple and secure online facility for gathering the satisfaction levels of multiple end-users. Participating organisations will be provided with a download of all their results, prior to publication of the Source Ratings Index, helping them to make intelligent decisions about which firms to use in future, based on past performance.
Input into the Source Ratings Index in 2010 is expected to continue until October, after which all results will be aggregated (and made anonymous in the process) to form a major report.
Costs:
Fee for adding bespoke questions to the survey (buying organisations only): £1000 +VAT
