For the past four years Source has produced a quarterly survey of client buying trends. We will now be expanding this report into a ground-breaking research programme, incorporating quantitative and qualitative feedback from both procurement teams and end users from large corporations in Europe and the Middle East, to be published in four parts, between December 2011 and September 2012.
The programme will provide the most extensive and detailed analysis of client buying trends and opinions ever undertaken in Europe and the Middle East and is expected to be of use to anyone with an interest in either buying or selling consulting services in the region.
The output of the research
Our research will result in four reports, available via a single subscription:
• Dec 2011: Quantitative data about forecasted expenditure over the next six months, based on a survey of procurement managers in 100 multinational organisations
• February 2012: Our main qualitative report, based on interviews with 400 end users across four major business functions (IT, HR, finance and strategy & operations) in multinational organisations (private sector only)
• June 2012: A quantitative update, looking forward to the second half of 2012
• September 2012: A special focus on public sector clients across major European markets, based on interviews with senior end users

Quarterly Buying Trends

Our Quarterly Buying Trends in Management Consulting report is based on an in-depth survey of buyers, drawn from organisations with a collective consultancy spend of about £4bn, and contains information about:

Subscribers will receive four quarterly reports every year and can also buy analyst briefings (either phone-based or in person) which are conducted by Source staff.
Buying organisations can receive free copies of the report when they contribute to the survey. The best way to be kept informed about surveys is to join our survey panel. A link to the survey for the next report will also appear here when it is ready. Please note: consulting firms are not permitted to complete the survey and will not receive a free copy if they do!
