Summary
ERG is an Italian multi-energy group active in oil refining, downstream petroleum product distribution, and the generation of electricity, notably from renewable sources. It processes more than 320,000 barrels of crude oil each day, has almost 2,000 service stations, and generates over five million kilowatts of electricity each year. In 2008 the group delivered consolidated revenues approaching €12 billion.
Over recent years, M&A and joint venture activities have seen ERG corporate staff spread across multiple locations. These include five main Italian operational centres: Genoa in the north, Rome in the centre, and three down in Sicily.
