CMS migration project review

Summary

OKI Printing Solutions is a market leader in the global colour printer market, with representation in 120 countries worldwide.

The company was running approximately 80 different websites across c.20 countries. There was widespread dissatisfaction with the existing platform, which was seen as inflexible and prone to outages.

OKI had initiated a CMS Migration Project to bring its sites onto a single platform, but the project had suffered from a turnover of project managers, management had low visibility of project status, and felt the project was highly unlikely to deliver against its original target deadline.

Berkeley were asked to review the project to ensure that it was placed on a sound footing, and develop a realistic plan to which all stakeholders could commit.
