Summary
ER Consultants has been working with MRC Human Resources to improve the effectiveness of delivery of their intramural programme. We have supported them in a range of interventions, from assessing the human resource governance of MRC, assessing and developing the corporate and business partner HR capability, to supporting the move to a regionalised management structure, and developing their programme management capability. We have designed and delivered assessment and development programmes, including coaching, for HR Business Partners, Senior Unit Administration, Research Programme Managers and Programme Managers. For the Directors we have run their 360˚ process and given each feedback as part of their development process. These are based on their need to improve leadership in light of a changing funding situation and are linked by agreed competencies. We have worked jointly with the HR team throughout this work.
