Practical innovation
Summary
Our client is the world’s leading life sciences business, a result of a merger between large British and Swiss global businesses. They recognised that the global landscape they were operating in was increasingly subject to a number of significant changes, including: increasing competition, greater price pressure and government regulation, climate change and customer awareness. As a response the global Supply Chain organisation felt that they had to develop their senior managers, operators and policy makers…to help them become more flexible, adaptive and ultimately innovative. Most of these individuals were experienced PhD chemists or engineers who were very comfortable with the design and development processes they had been using and perfecting over the last 20-30 years.
Our project was to design and deliver an approach, which would generate and manifest greater creativity and innovation throughout the global supply chain organisation, whilst delivering significant, step change, improvements in performance.
