Summary
Trinity Horne’s proven performance improvement and project management methodologies have helped Yorkshire Water’s Waste Water Business Unit maintain its high level of performance and constant drive to create efficiencies - through the successful development and implementation of the Waste Water 2020 (WW2020) Change Programme.
Trinity Horne worked with the WW2020 internal project team to review the operation and management processes across the business unit. Trinity Horne developed a series of recommendations for improvement projects to deliver the benefits. Five main work streams were established. Trinity Horne provided project management, knowledge transfer and consultancy support to the WW2020 Team to achieve:
- Year 1 cost savings targets† to ensure the project was cost neutral for Yorkshire Water
- New structures focusing specifically on key business processes including customer service and sewage sludge management
- New business processes focusing on consistent asset operation and maintenance
- Management processes supported by accurate people, asset and cost data, to support performance improvement
- A programme which sets the course for years 2, 3 and 4 to maintain the focus on performance improvement
- An internal change team acting as advocates for constant improvement
