Atos Consulting

Summary

Atos Consulting assisted the Government of Bangladesh in a major project, which was co-financed by DFID, the World Bank, and the Canadian International Development Agency to develop opportunities for public private partnerships (PPP) in infrastructure.

Atos Consulting led a consortium comprising PB Power and Baker & McKenzie amongst others to support projects in key sectors, including: electricity, telecom and water supply, as well as ports and shipping, transport and urban infrastructure. We have worked to develop institutional capacity in the Government’s agency mandated to support PPP – the Infrastructure Investment Facilitation Centre (IIFC) and have also assisted the agency develop a portfolio of project propositions, provided policy, regulatory and legislative drafting and strategy support, as well as work on developing projects into commercial opportunities for procurement, transaction and subsequent negotiation. Contractual strategies developed have ranged from concessions and leases, management contracts, licences and full and partial divestiture. The work also involved supporting utility sector regulators as appropriate
